REDUCING THE STRESS
OF IBS
De-stress your mind & gut
WHAT IS IBS?
IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) is a gastrointestinal disorder that is estimated to affect up to one in five people at some point in their life. It is a chronic condition and some of the symptoms include abdominal pain, cramping, bloating, gas, constipation, diarrhoea and sensitivity to certain foods.

IBS cases are higher in women, with about 2 out of 3 IBS sufferers thought to be female as opposed to 1 in 3 sufferers being male. IBS can occur at any point in life from childhood right through to mature age.

Symptoms can range from mild to moderate to severe.
HOW I HELP
Research is uncovering an ever growing body of evidence into the connection between our mind and gut and the ways in which our gut responds to our different emotional states. There is also a great deal of knowledge around the role stress plays in symptoms of IBS.

As we work through this programme, we uncover your IBS triggers and the core issues surrounding your symptoms. Using hypnotherapy and mindfulness techniques, I introduce you to tools and techniques to manage your stress response, reduce your symptoms and soothe your gut.
